A good Sunday breakfast recipe!
Start by preheating the oven to 375.
Next, put the fruit of your choice into a deep skillet with the sugar. Cook for about 10 to 15 minutes on medium high heat, stirring often to keep from burning. If needed, add a little bit of water to keep from burning.
While the fruit is cooking, mix together the flour, 1 cup sugar and the baking powder together in a mixing bowl. Add the milk and whisk to make a smooth batter.
Once the fruit is done cooking, layer it in the bottom of a greased 9x13 baking dish. Gently pour the batter over the fruit. Use a spoon to spread the batter over the fruit, but don't mix it.
Bake for about 1 hour, then serve topped with vanilla ice cream or yogurt.
Enjoy!
